WISH TREE COURTYARD MURAL
One of Shannon’s recent notable projects is a 70 ft. x 30 ft. painted mural titled ‘Reflections & Wishes’ in Columbia. It is situated in the recently renamed Wish Tree Courtyard, honoring the mural itself. The centerpiece of the mural is a magnificent painted tree that supports 70 hangtags adorned with written wishes the community has submitted. Adjacent to the tree, Shannon skillfully paints vibrant warehouse windows, creating a lifelike appearance. These windows reflect city landmarks, including the Tiger Hotel, Ernie’s Cafe, Jesse Hall, the Mizzou columns, and Columbia’s City Hall.
