
Shannon Webster Art Studio & Gallery
Shannon Webster is an artist in Columbia, Missouri who works in a range of mediums, with a focus on oil painting. His large–scale pieces explore the midwest and its cities, landscapes, buildings, and bridges, as well as those from his travels to places like New York, Chicago, England, and Italy. A graduate of the University of Missouri, with a BFA and a tech school degree in electronics, Webster is also a musician who finds inspiration in rock, blues, and jazz. He volunteers his time to help other artists and the local arts district, and is a member of the University of Missouri‘s Art and Archaeology Museum board, among others. Webster is devoted to his family, and also loves to travel and visit museums for inspiration. His work is characterized by an empathetic and calming nature, and an experimental spirit.
